Prices and booking

How much does it cost to send boxes from London?

Kerbside collection of up to 4 boxes, bags or suitcases costs £199 including VAT, to any of the 86 areas we serve, the same price to every destination. Ten pieces cost £289, twenty cost £409. Assisted, where we carry from inside, starts at £349.

Is it the same price to Leeds as to Guildford?

Yes. One flat price structure to every destination, both directions. The van network runs these legs anyway; you pay for your pieces, not the miles.

Is there a booking fee, card fee or ULEZ surcharge?

No. The price in the booking form is the full price. It includes VAT, payment fees, London charges and standard cover.

Can I cancel?

Yes, free of charge until the booking cutoff: 12:00 two days before your collection day. After cutoff the run is planned and loaded around your booking, so it is no longer refundable.

Can I add items after booking?

Yes. Reply to your confirmation email with what you want to add and we will send a payment link for the difference. Do it before the cutoff.

The run model

Why can't I choose my own date?

Your postcodes decide the days: London is Wednesday and every destination area has its own weekly day. One hub, full vans both ways, is why 10 boxes costs £289 and not a van day rate.

How often do runs leave?

Weekly, every lane. The booking form shows the next three dates for your exact postcodes.

How long does my stuff take?

Out of London: Yorkshire and the North East next day, the South West two days, the Thames Valley three, the Midlands five, the North West and East Anglia six, and the home counties the same Wednesday afternoon. Into London: collected on your area's day, delivered on the Wednesday.

Where is my stuff between legs?

At our secure Oxfordshire hub. Every piece is labelled with your reference, checked in on arrival and checked out on loading.

Do you go to Scotland?

Our sister service Scotland Shuttle runs those lanes on the same network: Thursday runs to Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh. If you enter a Scottish postcode our form hands you across with everything filled in.

Do you serve Northern Ireland, the islands or the Highlands?

Not yet. BT, GY, JE and IM postcodes can join the waitlist in the booking form and we will email you when they open.

Kerbside and Assisted

What exactly does Kerbside mean?

You bring everything to your front door (ground level access) and the driver loads. It is the cheapest way to travel and perfect for boxes and bags you can carry yourself.

What does Assisted include?

We come inside and carry everything out, on any floor, at both ends if you need it. Boxes and bags need one of us; furniture or bikes bring a two-person crew. From £349, plus a stairs charge per end where there is no lift: £15 for 2nd or 3rd floor, £30 for 4th and above.

When do I get the two-person crew?

Automatically, whenever your Assisted booking includes furniture or a bike. The booking form tells you which crew your items need as you count them.

Packing and items

What counts as a piece?

Any box, bag or suitcase up to 30 kg. Bikes and small furniture are priced separately and never eat into your piece count.

Do I need special boxes?

No. Any sturdy box, holdall, rucksack or suitcase is fine. Write your booking reference on each piece; we bring labels on the day too.

How should I send a bike?

Pedals off if you can and bars turned. A bike box or bag is welcome but not required. Bikes are £59 each and always bring the two-person crew on Assisted.

What can I not send?

Liquids, large batteries, perishables, cash, jewellery and hazardous items. The full prohibited items list explains why and what to do instead.

Is my stuff insured?

Standard cover of £50 per piece is included. If something is worth more than that, it should travel with you, not on the van.

On the day

When will you arrive?

You get a 4-hour window by text the evening before each leg, collection and delivery. The driver calls or texts when they are close.

What about parking, buzzers and London flats?

We handle the parking and the ULEZ; you handle being reachable on the mobile you booked with. Put entry codes and buzzer numbers in the booking notes and read the collection day guide for the full routine.

What if I miss the collection?

Text or call the number in your window message as early as you can. Before cutoff we can move you to the next run free. On the day, a missed collection usually means waiting a week for the next run.

Can someone else hand over or receive my pieces?

Yes. Put their name and number in the booking notes and make sure they have your reference.
